Larry, your own posts won't show up in Gmail until someone responds to
them.  Gmail 'feature' so that you don't clutter up your inbox with your own
emails.  I looked for a setting that would switch that feature off but never
found it.  That was a couple of years ago, they could have provided that
option since but I don't find it that anoyying anymore.
