Jeff,

The Pimax is a bit sensitive to how it's mounted.  The rail has a tendency
to twist when you tighten the bottom bolt.  It's important that you make
sure this rail stays straight or it will bind (or squeak) during operation.

Other than that, I've had pretty good luck with them.

And yes, you may have some issues with the stock speakers.

If you decide to go that direction, our price on the Pimax regulators is
$150.70 for the left, and $150.13 for the right.
