Coincidently I just spoke to Brian who is a friend of mine. However that happened, he did think you told him it would $800 just to start helping. He is broken down far from home with his wife and son on vacation so he is feeling a little stressed. I hope to help him do a few basic troubleshooting steps and then he can decide what more to do from there. I suspect his problem is minor as far as fixing it. It may be major as far as determining exactly what the problem is and getting parts. And the conversation was broken up and unclear ..............then he says '800 dollars' .......and I say ............well if we're talking about that kind of $ and you are sincere, .......then yes, I can do it. > I'm certain I can fix his van, even if I have to bring another wiring harness, which I have several of , or whatever. I'd go with 2 distrubtors and 2 ECU's at least, plus a bunch of tools. That sounds high to me..........but if it's several hours driving, plus gas, plus time working on the van, plus parts.......( just laoding up with *everything* I think I might need to fix his van could take me 4 + hours ) ............... > anyway........ > I didnt' say '800 dollars'.............and then we lost contact.........and I can't call him back. So if anyone hears from him............at least let him know I didn't give that quote. > thanks, > scott > www.turbovans.com > Medford/Ashalnd, Southern Oregon > 541 951 8151 > >
