Hi everyone... I hope that all is well. I just recently disconnected my shift linkage from my tranny in order to check the fluid. After replacing it, of course the linkage was out of place. I made adjustments in the center of the linkage to find that I had problems under the stick itself. After examining in the box located under the stick, I discover pieces of plastic of some sort. I believe this has to do with the spring loaded piece associated with reverse and holding the stick in place. Now the stick seems to sit too high in the order so that I have to slighly push it down to get it into gears 1-4......mainly 1. Does anyone know what this piece is called so that I may place an order with busdepot...etc.? Thanks for your help and attention. p.s. ...I have also noticed the dreadful green plague that seems to attack all 1.9l. Just recently I noticed antifreeze leaking from a bolt on the head near what I think is the #1 cylinder. Its not leaking bad....nor is is leaking at the seams....just around this bolt. I slightly tightened it with a 17mm if I remember correctly. Anyone have any advice on how to fix....or do I just keep the fluids full and drive this mean machine til she says no more? Thanks again!
