Driving a Vanagon Subi powered is not all about power, it's mostly about
reliability, and believe me, they are.

If you think that German engineering is superior to Japanese you just don't
know and understand engines.

My helper now as a 2007 Rabbit, 2.5L 5 cyl Audi engine, this thing as only
20k miles, it's leaking oil at 6 different places, it as poblem starting,
5th gear is hard to get in, rust is starting on the roof.... This guy is
crazy about VW, his doing a 1.8T swap right now on a old Golf, but even him
agree on some very poor engineering from VW.

I won't tell you the story of my sister and her 93 Golf. My close cousin is
also a VW freak, he as a few car including a modified old Golf with a 2.0L
16V engine... ask him about VW... he drive a Mazda each day to go to work.

I have seen stuff like that (PRO VW, purist...) here over 8 years! Even at
one time i even tought i could save those, now, i have seen the other side
and i wonder why i did try....

Nothing change here, i was just passing...

No need to reply to that e-mail, i had enough of VW purist... i can't stand
you guys anymore.
