I guess I'm lucky I didn't blow myself up all these last years.......... swappin' out trailer type propane tanks and whatnot with an ordinary crescent wrench. But that's a beautiful metal. A brass crescent wrench would suure be a nice thing. Somehow I never have much fire trouble, or if there is any .........I think I've gotten 4 car fires out within 30 seconds or even less. I'm sure I'll think of you next time I conenct a propane tank or whatever............or now I'll stumble across a braass crescent wrench ( I've never seen one, not sure they even exist normally ) ..........and then I'll have to buy it. ! ;-) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roger Whittaker" <rogerwhitt1@GMAIL.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Sunday, August 03, 2008 10:51 PM Subject: Re: From rags to westy in a week. > dear scott > no i do not have personal brass propane wrenches > but if i were going to work on a tank on a vanagon > i would go get some > ;) > yours > > On Sun, Aug 3, 2008 at 10:44 PM, Scott Daniel - Turbovans < > scottdaniel@turbovans.com> wrote: > >> you personally have *brass* wrenches, Roger, for working on propane ? >> I don't know anyone who does, 'cept for places that work on propane full >> time perhaps. >> >> ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roger Whittaker" < >> rogerwhitt1@GMAIL.COM> >> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> >> Sent: Sunday, August 03, 2008 10:28 PM >> Subject: Re: From rags to westy in a week. >> >> >> >> dear craig >>> i hope you are storing the propane tank outside and away from errant >>> sparks >>> while you work >>> hook it together with brass wrenches ... check for leaks constantly >>> use only new fittings and hoses >>> be safe >>> yours >>> >>> On Sun, Aug 3, 2008 at 7:40 PM, craig cowan <phishman068@gmail.com> >>> wrote: >>> >>> Well the weekend has passed, and boy do i have alot to show for it!
