That's really strange that Chris S.' email shows up to you (and the
archives) as "Encrypted".

I'm using Thunderbird and am not on digest (I use my mail rules to
funnel all Vanagon email to a Vanagon List folder that I created) and
his posts, in my mail client, look normal.

The link you supplied to the archives, however, shows the problem you
mentioned.
