Hi all.
This for an '81 Westy.
Bentley shows a transistor symbol ("solid state circuitry") in the
brake warning light assembly. It appears to work with the brake light
switches on the master cylinder to warn of a failure of a brake
hydrualic circuit.
This transistor has 2 grounds. A ground goes to one side from the oil
pressure light (when pressure switch closed), the other side has a
constant ground from the body.
Why is there a ground from the oil pressure switch wire?
I appreciate any insights. It will help me trouble shoot my Jetta
engine install.
Thanks,
Neil.
