Subject:Re: How much weight of a load can a 83.5 Westy haul?
From:Roger Whittaker

dear loaded to go
braking indeed is an issue
how much whoa is often more important than how much go -
but also ...
wheel bearings -
steering /front end bits-
clutch-
1/2 axles-

and the all important "oh Sh*t" plan
how will you transfer the load if you have a break down along the way
moreover- into what will you transfer

is your vehicle recently serviced -

you know the olde saying stick to basics and the rest will look after itself

good luck drive safely
yours

Picking up garbage and telling people things.
Successful people do both, with the same good attitude. (riw)
