Back in the '60s, I constructed a "Semi-dry" submarine out of plywood. I first "Painted" the plywood with fiberglass resin then finished it with marine paint. It stayed outside in the weather, when it wasn't in the ocean, and I noticed no degradation during the 3 years I owned it. Mike
