Treat your self to a set of bearing/seal drivers. I also have a bearing driver that is adjustable. It works really well with a hammer or the press. I have an econ 20 ton press and it has done everything Vanagon including tranny work. It does struggle with the lower ball joints though. For Vanagon front wheel bearing races I do not use a press at all. I used a hammer and a metal chsiel like this: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00936928000P I have done that twice on my 84 front wheel bearings. Never have problems. Of course, this is not an approved method. But it saves you the money for the press, unless you need the press for other applications.
