We are going to take an extended camping trip in the van and I've been thinking of putting the Coleman stove and the extra fuel on the roof rack to minimize the chance of a gas smell inside the van. Anyone know of a one gallon fuel can (probably plastic) that is low enough not to stick above the roof rack line? That's about 3.5 inches. I could get four 1-liter aluminum fuel bottles but those are about $12 each and I was hoping to do better. The stove is higher than that so I might just pull the tank/generator out of the stove box and let it ride up there in a small bag.
