Though I've had mine over 6 months now, for the first time I looked in the compartment under the drivers seat. There was a package of Cutter insect repellent wipes, two packs of chewing gum, unopened, and a can opener. Got me to thinking, I'm sure others have found much more "interesting" things in the various nooks and crannies. Allan -- 1991 Vanagon GL
