I had to cut the plastic line where it was attached to the broken nipple on TOP of one of my fuel expansion tanks. I've repaired the nipple, what is the best way to attach the now-shortened plastic line? Can I just clamp a short length of rubber hose directly to the plastic line, or is it better to use something like a double-ended hose barb for the splice? Allan -- 1991 Vanagon GL
