The problem is probably the sender of the messages.  If you 'Reply to All' a
copy goes to the list and also to the originator of the message.  If just
'Reply' then only the original sender gets the reply. So, if you want to
respond to the list only then cut/paste the list address from the cc: column
to the To: column.
