RE: Import from Canada
Check the archives on this one, there was a lot of very detailed information
posted in the past.  A couple of things I do remember.  The speedo has to be
changed out (replace kilometer speedo with one that reads in mph) and the
headlights may have to be changed.  Going through an import broker can be
very, very expensive.  And it may require a letter from VW regarding the
original status of the vehicle but VW refuses to issue such letters
anymore.  Is there any chance that the Syncro was imported from the US to
Canada in the first place? If so then apparently things get easier.
