Dear Volksbretheren,

I am in need of a gooseneck lamp - halogen bulb or LED - with a focusing
beam. I do really fine tooling work like what is found on  fine hand
guns, and I need a lamp that can be flexed and the beam focused and pen
pointed into a particular spot. I often work with opti visors and
sometimes even stereoscopic surgical lenses to do the work, but I need
the external pinpointed lighting. Anyone got any suggestions where I
might find such a wee beastie.

A table lamp would be best, but I'll consider a floor model.
