The other problem is that if you have power windows, the window motor is at the bottom of the door where you might be thinking of mounting a speaker -so look before you cut.
Another trick is to pick the door speaker you want, and look around for flush-mount grills you can use with them. There is no reason you have to use the grills that came with your speakers.
