OK, I went online to get a quote on these tires here's the email I got
back.
The tire dealer doesn't think these are a good choice for a Vanagon.

with a 185r14 reinforced tire for added carrying capacity. A regular

is never recommended for your vehicle. For 4-185R14 Hankook reinforced
tires your complete price will be $427.38.
