Since I'm not certain of the smiley and I don't watch reality shows
to catch the reference, I'll give a straight answer on the
off-chance.  I meant that the Canadian government or safety-standards
organization had apparently decided that you couldn't be trusted not
to hurt yourself somehow with the folding drainboard (presumably by
burning your um...elbow on it after accidentally lighting a burner
beneath?  Or perhaps pinching your elbow when folding it back into
the cover?) and had therefor taken it away.
