 Hello Folks,

It's that time of the year again for our annual SF Bay Area Van-O-Rama
get-together. As in the past couple of years, we will be having it
at:

Alta Loma Park
450 Camaritas
South San Francisco, CA 94080

September 13, 2008

We will be in the south parking lot entered from Camaritas Drive. There are
restrooms located on the western edge of the baseball diamond and also at
the northern end of the park just past the basketball courts. There is a
tennis court as well but presently has no nets.

Since the City of SSF will not grant a permit to hold an automotive event at
this park, this is an open/unorganized "picnic" event. We all happen to run
to each other and happen to drive the same type of vehicle. =) As in he past
year, there's always some curious cops coming by to ask why so many VW vans
are in one place. They usually leave once they see that it's mostly old
fogies hanging out.

I will try to reserve the barbecue grill to lend some legitimacy to the
event, if it is still available for that day. If anyone wants
"refreshments", please bring them yourselves. Donations for Costco
pizza and soda gladly accepted.

Hope to see you there. I'll be the guy in the ugly green LT35 van with rust
colored trim all over.

BenT
