Hi Jack, Yes, warm and dry is very appealing. Unfortunately it is raining here too and we are headed for Denali National Park tonight. We have a lottery pass that lets us drive our own vehicle into the Park on Saturday. People put scuba gear away for the season?? Must be nice, we do not have a scuba and non-scuba season, the water is always cold! A hot summer day may give us about `55F surface temp. and winter diving it drops to around `36F. Too bad about the camera, I would like to try underwater photography but have a hard time justifying the expense for the gear. I will bet the Schnauzer does not smell too good in the rain either! Then again neither will the van after a chili dinner. Keep on camping and don't let the weather stop you. And I DO lookforward to the spring Buses by the Beach (had a GREAT time this past spring) and getting my bus blessed for another year of trouble free driving, adding another bead to the necklace etc. > > Jack R. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On > Behalf Of > Jonce Fancher > Sent: Friday, September 12, 2008 5:02 PM > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: Re: Buses by the Beach... getting cold feet Shot Down > > Hi Jack and all > Well Ive been out voted.
