talking about cruising at high rpm ? saying 7K when you mean 4K is like claiming you were cruising at 120 mph, when you really meant 60 mph. People can mostly only go on the words that are written after all. but it was fun ! and I have seen 72 mph in 4th gear with a 5 speed in an 83 Adventurewagon with 1.9 wbxr engine......... the tach was intermittent at the time...............but I reckon I took it to 6,000 rpm, or almost that, coming over the crest of a hill and not shifting to 5th when I should have. It was still gaining speed rapidly when I shifted out of 4th at 72 mph. Those short stoke things don't mind short periods of high rpm I don't think.
