My '85 Westy has a 2.1L Syncro engine installed complete with the cooling system, so I'll have to get a Syncro distributor. I think I remember stepping on mine at some point during the engine swap, so that explains the leak. Oh, 'Hersheymobile' or 'Heshey' is just a nickname for my camper. The bottom half is brown like a Hershey bar and the name stuck. :-) 2008/9/15 Scott Daniel - Turbovans <scottdaniel@turbovans.com> > well get a new one. > but I'd try to do a system that doesn't use water distributors, if that's > even possible on a 2.1 waterboxer engine conversion. > van cafe is a could source I believe. > > what is a Herhseymobile anyway ? > a vanagon in special form, or ? > if I had to use water distributors, I'd use the 2.1 2WD one..........more > common by far. > Scott > turbovans. > ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris S" <szpejankowski@GMAIL.COM> > To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> > Sent: Saturday, September 13, 2008 10:15 AM > Subject: Coolant distributor leak - common?
