Flying lead with a clip on the end?  It's a spare voltmeter input,
reads on the last position of the rotary switch.  Definitely don't
let it see spark voltage, and I'd hesitate to hook it to the lead
from coil to igniter.  Other than that, anywhere in the van should be ok.
