Usually it's called "the van"  My son called my previous van "the shaggen wagon", but I  called it "the burgundy beast).

In Nova Scotia, we have plates on the rear of the van ONLY, so that leaves the front open for whatever.  So I had a Euro type plate made for the front that said:
Pair-A-Docs.   Whereas my wife and I both have Ph.D.s.   M
