We all have those spray cans of lube, brake cleaner, electric contact cleaner, WD-40, right? And they all come from the stores with those neat little tubes that direct the spray into a small concentrated stream, usually taped onto the can. Often very handy to keep from messing up surfaces surrounding where the______ liquid need to go. But if you are like me, those tubes get lost PDQ after the spray can comes home with me. And then I am always trying one from another can of different stuff (if I can find even one) and the "maybe this is the same size tube" never fits properly into the spray can head. It gets the_____all over your hands as you try to MAKE it fit and you (me) spray the____on your fingers. Well, a new discovery is that a zip tie around the can, if you snug it up tight using some pliers, will hold the little pipe against the can, just like the tape that held it there in the store. No more rotten rubber bands breaking, half stuck tape..etc etc. Just put a zip tie round the can (or two connected) and slip the tube thingy into the space left at the 'cinch' of the zip tie. No more lost pipey-thingies.. Don Hanson
