Hi all. First off, thanks for the help re: gas pedal movement (drivetrain movement) and surging at low speeds in 1st gear. I thought an extra motor mount would cure this. (Subject was 'Short Motor Mount....' ) Problem: I had tethered the Vanagon portion of the throttle cable to the frame. (don't ask.... :^) Solution (untested): I made a bracket to hold the Vanagon and Jetta cables to tranny/engine as a unit. Should solve the problem. Drawing a blank here. I'm tired and googling to no avail. Question: Anyone know of a solid coupler that could slip over each cable end to tie them together? They *almost* touch as is, so a slip on coupler would be great!
