Why not use a brass barb and good quality clamps with the previously
mentioned grommet?

I can see hoe that is a fire starter. I was going to take guapo to the body
shop, but the huge puddle of gas that was on the ground and traced to that
hose prevented me from moving anywhere until I get this fixed. The PO has
new hoses up to that point behind the juction, but the ones in the engine
bay are old and wet.

Can I make a juction there and if so what have other people used?

Thanks,
Tony
