My turbo volvo sedan is named 'Inga'............and yes, it's 'we can go in Inga' . My old mercedes sedan is named Urusla. I've never named my vanagons that much though. I could call my 'new' 87 Wolfsburg ( likely for sale ) 'The Silver Streak'. or 'Wolfy' I suppose. mostly I make them so dialed in throughout that I don't have to call them a turd or POS. I did have freinds who called their Mercury Comet 'Vomit' though - thought that was cute ! I call my freind's Ford Escort station wagon 'Escargot' ...........mildly derogatory. We say 'the Escargot' . ( prounned the frech way of course........for snale - 'escar-go'. ) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeff" <vw.doka@GMAIL.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Wednesday, October 01, 2008 1:15 PM Subject: Vehicle Names > As I read the posts on this list, I'm more than a little surprised how > many > people have names for their vehicles.
