dear new to 1.6 td
my 89 is factory 1.6td ... with a 5 speed transmission
recently put in 1.9td in garden city idaho after failure of 1.6 after nearly
200 000 KM
*the starter is differen*t ...
once installed it is actually at the top of the bell housing
i can send you pictures if you want -
if you have etka 7 you can look it up --
let me know if you want other pictures
