I mounted my gauges with this pod, removed the ashtray. My gauges are all white now. I drilled and tapped the coolant distributor (very carefully), and installed the coolant temp sensor very close to the original. For oil temp, used a beetle drain plug sensor, and for the oil pressure used a grease gun extension hose attached to the block and on the side a T fitting with the original oil pressure sensor and a VDO sensor for the gauge. Ran the wires attached to the a/c hoses, and there you have it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Auto-Meter-Gauge-Pod-52mm-02-07-WRX-STI-Subaru_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ40017QQihZ012QQitemZ220290984710QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW And these installationd are very cool http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=165693&highlight=westy Good luck to you Hctor 1990 Carat 'Ursula' By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.
