Go ahead, they always like to have a good laugh.

Is your payment marked "unclaimed?" If it is, and remains so, it will
automatically get returned after about 30 days. I thought, though, that
you could cancel it yourself as I previously described. If it is not
unclaimed, then you have to deal with the person you sent the money to.
Your mistake is not PayPal's problem.
