That's quite interesting.  I did re-use the protective sleeves, as most
of the others who've experienced this reported they did.

This gasoline "goo" is dripping down onto the exhaust and the garage
floor.  I can't imagine that it's "OK" or not to worry about it.

I am going to try wiping some up and seeing if it will burn, since one
person reported that it's "not flamable" which I absolutely cannot
believe, but we'll see.
