Right, there are others but for 20 to 30 bones you could pick it up and if you didnt want it later you could use it to start a fire with. The others are in the 100s Plus dont make good fires. Toxic maybe but not good. Ebay has them and so does a fair amount of commercial service van places. I played with getting one for my sprinter a few years back. There are tons of them out there. Also make sure you get a printer and power converter as well. I saw someone on the free way recently playing a play station or xbox type gig. Not safe. Could have been the passenger playing but sure looked like the driver was multi tasking. C-ya Jonce Thanks again, this is the only link you sent me. This is the same as the 1st. I was thinking of something more like this that mounts lower, my computer is much smaller so want something smaller that maybe folds away somehow when not in use. http://www.jottodesk.net/universal/jotto-desk-universal-2500.htm CalTel Systems Dj Martin Phone: 760-712-2178 Fax: 305-418-7425 email: djct2@yahoo.com web: www.calteltelecom.com From: Jonce Fancher [mailto:streetbugs@verizon.net] Sent: Wednesday, November 19, 2008 6:23 PM To: vanagon; dj Subject: RE: mounting a laptop in vanagon The answer!! and More info Hi Forgot to add this as well OOps Jonce http://www.vanagonaccessories.com/vanagoncomputertray.html Jonce Fancher 56 Single Cab 66 Sunroof Bug 66 Variant Squareback 66 Porsche 912 71 Sunroof Bus 84 Vanagon "Gottfried" 85 Vanagon Westi 2003 10 Passenger Sprinter Fancher's Upholstery Inc. - www.fanchers.com Not-A-VW Club- http://mywebpages.comcast.net/jaransont3/notavwclub/ Jonce Fancher 56 Single Cab 66 Sunroof Bug 66 Variant Squareback 66 Porsche 912 71 Sunroof Bus 84 Vanagon "Gottfried" 85 Vanagon Westi 2003 10 Passenger Sprinter Fancher's Upholstery Inc. - www.fanchers.com Not-A-VW Club- http://mywebpages.comcast.net/jaransont3/notavwclub/ ------------------------------------------------------------ + To unsubscribe from the Vanagon List send an e-mail to + listserv@gerry.vanagon.com with SIGNOFF VANAGON + in the body of the message. ------------------------------------------------------------
