I had an AFM fall off my '85 on the way home from the opening showing of "LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE" with some friends. That made for a great story.... It did work, it just ran rough and was very slow to respond to throttle so almost impossible to start on a hill. I ended up pulling over, and fixing it with a quarter (i didn't have a screwdriver to tighten the hoseclamp, only a quarter). -Craig '85GL turned WESTY On Sun, Nov 23, 2008 at 9:59 PM, Scott Daniel - Turbovans < scottdaniel@turbovans.com> wrote: > Actually, you can drive around half decently. > It's not hard to forget that last step of plugging the connector onto the > AFM of course, which is how I found out. > They run quite well, though unevenly, especially with a lot of pedal > applied. > I doubt that it hurts anything.
