I'd try calling the local VW dealer on Monday -- with your VIN, they can
probably cut you a new key, assuming that somebody hasn't fitted new
locks since the van was manufactured.

Also I think there are code numbers on the lock cylinders that will
identify the key pattern needed, I believe any legitmate locksmith could
then make you a key.

I'd try the dealer first, personally, to avoid the need to take anything
apart.
