Subject:Re: Using Google Groups to archive messages

I'm not a geek so this may not be a solution at all, but for awhile it has
seemed to me odd that the ENTIRE archive is segregated by weeks (IIRC).
Would it not the following arrangement be more useful?

Present week: Arc'd by day.
Present month: Arc'd by week (excl. present week).
Present year: Arc'd by month (excl. present week/month).
Present decade: Arc'd by year (excl. present week/month/year).

Would this not allow users to find topical data more efficiently?

BTW, I rarely visit the archive 'cause it's so troublesome.
