Aaron, weren't you the same guy that was going to buy a trans from Randy in KY (I'm buying a manual trans from him.) I'm in CT and buying a m/t from KY. Randy found it would be about $90 by UPS. Daryl at AA Transaxle says he ships them to all parts of the country for $100. And I saw one on eBay and shipping was $100. I know an auto trans is a bit heavier, but it shouldn't be that much more to ship. Ed in CT > Anyone traveling from the Maryland area to the Kentucky area, please contact me!! My 85 A/T is in pretty bad shape and a gentleman in the MD area has one that I could use, but of course it is the matter of getting it here to Louisville, KY. Econ is smashing me to pieces the same way we are all getting it so I am simply trying to find an alternate to the $200 to $300 frieght cost. Let me know, open to any dates sooner or later....... > Happy Holidays,> Aaron Bright> Louisville, KY > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------> + To unsubscribe from the Vanagon List send an e-mail to> + listserv@gerry.vanagon.com with SIGNOFF VANAGON> + in the body of the message.> ------------------------------------------------------------ _________________________________________________________________ Access your email online and on the go with Windows Live Hotmail. http://windowslive.com/Explore/Hotmail?ocid=TXT_TAGLM_WL_hotmail_acq_access_112008 ------------------------------------------------------------ + To unsubscribe from the Vanagon List send an e-mail to + listserv@gerry.vanagon.com with SIGNOFF VANAGON + in the body of the message. ------------------------------------------------------------
