Tim,
I have a gmail account for the vanagon list, but wish I had one with all
the messages for the beginning.  What exactly do you mean by step 3?
Are you just talking about searching the archives via email when you are
looking for something, or did you actually get the server to send you
all the past emails to your gmail account?  (With the GETPOST command??)
