Well, in my books it's better to ask a "stupid question" than to make a
preventable mistake because of ego, vanity, or shyness.

BTW, this list has help me avoid a lot of "stupid" mistakes due to the
collective experiences of it's members.  Mind you I have made a few
"stupid" mistakes and I hope to be able to help others avoid repeating
my mistakes...
