Hey Volks 2.1 stock wasserboxer in an '86 Westy I installed a new oil cooler about 7 months and 2,000 miles ago. Just recently (within the last few days) my Vanagon has been leaking coolant at about the rate of one drop every 3-4 seconds. The leak appears to be coming from the seal between the oil cooler and the engine case and only when warm. Could this be due to the oil cooler nut having come loose/the seal failing? My other though is that the diaphragm has failed. Should I be looking at getting a new oil cooler or just the seal? Thanks, Andrew ------------------------------------------------------------ + To unsubscribe from the Vanagon List send an e-mail to + listserv@gerry.vanagon.com with SIGNOFF VANAGON + in the body of the message. ------------------------------------------------------------
