I have used several Exeltech XP 1100 inverters in extremely hot and dirty conditions in the Persian Gulf region. They were rigid-mounted to a HMMWV chassis, no air conditioning, no maintenance beyond an occasional blowing out of dust with a compressor hose. Never had a failure running a variety of equipment, ranging from laptop computers to a small air compressor, in 15 months. They're tough. -- Michael Snow 1982 Westfalia 1.9TD http://slowmachine82.blogspot.com/ On Wed, Dec 10, 2008 at 4:49 AM, M'obeechi <obeechi@runbox.com> wrote: > I looked at the archives, but its not working right now. > > There aren't any reviews online that I can find regarding pure sine wave inverters. > > For now it looks like Exeltech, Samlex, and Cotek might be good. But there are others too. I'm wanting 1000 watt range with 2000 watt surges. > > Anyone have any leads?
