In Richmond VA 1.42 is not uncommon, and I filled up at Kroger for 1.39 a gallon for regular and got a further .10 off per gallon with my points for buying groceries there. Good deal.

I filled my Passat the other day and paid $1.61 p/g for 87 octane.
I'm seeing prices for the same fuel in the upper $1.50's.
