Check your local www.craigslist.org .. It changes daily. To search a larger area use www.craigshelper.com http://sfbay.craigslist.org/search/sss?query=welder Be generic in your search as many ads won't list it exactly as your search words. I have a Lincoln 110vt wire feed flux core/gas welder Very similar to the model they sell @ Lowes or home depot for under $300.. I've used it for ~15years and am VERY happy with it's performance. From crusty tool handles to autobody sheet metal and frame repairs.. And give us back a decent documentation write up. Best.. My son, a certified welder, says that a continuous feed MIG welder is the thing. Anyone have or know of a good deal on one of these things within striking distance of SF?
