Replacing both cylinders at same time is good advice.  I replaced the slave
cylinder a couple of years ago and the system was never right, soft pedal,
air in system, had to bleed several times.  Finally I got tired of this
routine and I decided to R&R both laast week.  Bingo!!! Nice pedal action,
good gear engagement.
