I am currently running a set of 16" Eurovan Steelies on my Synchro. Even though they are different rims (or are they the same, folks?), the below applies in general to the EV 16"ers. Actually I'm not sure about the front spacer used on Syncros, didn't try it. From - http://www.vanagon.com/info/tires/index.html - "Syncro - Can fit Syncro without machining if 5/16" spacer used up front. No front spacer needed with slight enlarging of center hole where it contacts the hub. 2WD - requires substantial enlarging of the center hole to clear front grease caps. Front spacer needed for tire clearance at upper ball joint. Suggest using front studs so all nuts will match and to make room for spacers." I had to use longer studs in the rear, about 10mm longer if I remember correctly. So far so good! I have a set of 16" Eurovan Steel Rims and I was wondering if they would fit on a Vanagon. I think the bolt pattern is the same but I am not sure about the offset. Anyone know or have tried it?
