I run the Yokohama 356, "D" on my 84 Westy, the 14" tires are really quite on the ride as well. They are a "summer" tire, and have very low roll resistance. http://tinyurl.com/7pptvb if you are selling the van the "C" tires are good enough at $68 each, and actually provide a little smoother ride. The "D" tires will give you a little better cross wind handling. Tirerack usually get me tires in two days. Then I go to the local Wall-mart, as they will mount "carry in" tires cheap! They are a load range C tire and I really like them ( I run them on my vans). Tirerack always has them in stock so they are quick and easy to get. Just line up a local shop that is willing to install them. You should be able to find this tire listed under Vanagon on their site.
