Joy,
        The browser you are using has absolutely nothing to do with spyware
popups appearing. I won't go on my rant but you can't put all your faith in
free software like AVG. Please use a good spyware remover like
http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/ to remove the crap you've now got on
your computer. It's not free but it works.
