If my memory is correct, when Tom became totally overwhelmed with work and lost the time and interest to be the moderator, he "appointed" Jim to the task. Jim, through his role as moderator, has a great feel for the list membership with his behind the scenes interactions with potential moderators. If Jim is willing, I suggest that he communicate with one or more potential moderators, appoint one as his successor, and give that person the keys to the kingdom. We need to move forward and get back to working on the vans. And my hat goes off to the next "cat herder" and the task ahead.
